To request reseller status to be applied to your account for all purchases, please review the following and use the form below.
Please allow a couple business hours for us to respond. If you are shipping Next Day Air, please call our Parts Department.
Reseller status cannot be toggled on and off for individual orders or items. This is a permanent account-level change.
Before you begin, please:

Confirm tax is being applied to your order. If you are a shipping outside New York State, sales taxes are probably not being applied to your order, so you might not need to do anything.

Confirm you have created, logged in, and are using the account where you want your reseller status applied. We can only edit the taxable status of accounts that already exist. We cannot create a new account for you.
- Have your completed, valid Resale Certificate available as a digital file that you can e-mail as an attachment for our records. If we cannot read, store, or print the complete document(s), we will not be able to make the requested changes to your account.
YOU MUST ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING TERMS FOR RESELLER STATUS TO BE APPLIED TO YOUR ACCOUNT.
- I certify that I have the legal authority to:
- Request a reseller status be applied to my account and orders,
- Accept the required terms for this request,
- Be accountable to the governing law of my resale certificate, and
- Present and invoke the necessary documents for this request.
- I understand falsifying statements or documents may cause me to be financially and criminally at risk.
- I certify that my request is complete, containing my completed, valid resale certificate and any additionally required documentation.
- I certify that the items being purchased from now on are for purposes appropriately covered by my resale certificate.
- I certify that I will accept the full, irrevocable responsibility of any taxes, penalties, fees, and expenses incurred, past or present, if a review by any party of sufficient authority or responsibility determines my reseller status to be invalid for any reason.
- I accept full responsibility for this request and will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Martin's Outdoor Power Equipment LLC and related entities and persons (hereafter, "Martin's Outdoor") for this request and any actions related thereto.
- I understand that previously completed purchases may not have my reseller status retroactively applied by Martin's Outdoor.
- I understand it is my responsibility to confirm all charges, including taxes, prior to completing my purchase, and Martin's Outdoor is not responsible for failures to apply my reseller status for any reason.
- I understand that Martin's Outdoor is not responsible or liable for any loss or damage related to any order or delivery delays related to this or any subsequent request to review or alter my reseller status.
- I understand that my reseller status is applied specifically to my customer account and I must use this same customer account for each future order to utilize this benefit.
- I understand that I may be able to login using an alternate account of my own creation, not associated with this request, and it is my sole responsibility to maintain any accounts I create, independently.
- I understand that it is my responsibility as the buyer to inform Martin's Outdoor if a purchase does not meet the reseller requirements or if my reseller status is otherwise invalid, and my orders should have taxes applied prior to checkout.
- I understand my attestations, understandings, and agreements herein are legally binding and enforceable, in whole and in part (should any part be determined unenforceable), without expiration for so long as the commerce platform affected remains in operation, or records for previous transactions are available.
- I understand the governing law in effect shall be that of the United States, the State of New York, and the State of issuance for my resale certificate, according to legal precedence, or, in absence thereof, at the discretion of Martin's Outdoor.
- I understand that a completed request to set reseller status on my account is an implied declaration of acceptance of all terms as stated in the forgoing, and any attempt to excuse or absolve any element in whole or part is of none effect and void. Furthermore, I understand that my sole alternate option is to process my transaction without reseller status, and recover taxes paid according to applicable law.
